DEXTER is a super fabulous 7 year old cat with toes from here to eternity. He is double polydactyl on 3 of his 4 paws!
His vet records call him "blonde" but his fur is actually a gorgeous, very unique taupe color.
DEXTER is super loving and affectionate towards his people. Historically he lived in a loving home with 3 other cats who he was bonded to, but once the children arrived, his world became a living hell. His apartment was too small to escape the shrill screams of the toddlers and he spent his days hiding in the bedroom.
DEXTER does NOT want to live with young children. Older, respectful kids are fine, especially if they'll allow him to sit with them and get petted.
He doesn't care whether he lives with other animals as long as he has a human to love him. He'd be a great cat for a retired person or couple.
He is shy when first meeting new people, but warms up quickly and will come sit in your lap for petting. He loves being petted!
DEXTER has decompressed in a quiet foster home with no screaming kids. Just friendly cats and a dog who are happy to be his friends. He has his own room in his foster home but prefers to spend the majority of his time hanging out on his own in a large room with one other cat.
DEXTER is a cuddly cat. He wants to sit in your lap and sleep with you in bed. He likes looking out the window and playing with his toys.
DEXTER is fully vetted - neutered, vaccinated, and negative for feline aids (FIV) and leukemia (FeLV). He's even had a dental/
Because he has so many toes he will need to have his nails (all of them) cut monthly so they don't embed in his paw pads. It's easy to do and we will show you how.
