Sometimes all it takes is someone willing to take a closer look at a situation.
Several months ago we were asked to help with six kittens born to two young mama cats living outdoors. The family believed the moms were feral and asked us to take only the kittens. We agreed, on the condition that we would get both moms spayed.
The moment we met them though, we knew the moms weren't feral at all.
SELENA (solid gray) and LOUISA (gray tabby) are both incredibly sweet, affectionate young cats who simply found themselves raising their babies outside.
They raised their families side by side, even nursing each other's babies. They have been BFFs from the very beginning, and their bond is something truly special.
SELENA is timid when you first meet her, but she does warm up and has a gentle, loving nature. LOUISA is very outgoing, full of personality, and makes friends almost instantly.
We'd love nothing more than to see these devoted sisters continue their life journey side by side. Their babies are all grown up, adopted, or living in another foster home, so this is their time to shine.
At barely 18 months old, SELENA & LOUISA's lives are just beginning, and it's finally their turn to be loved, cherished, and spoiled the way they always deserved.
Both girls are spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, dewormed, and have tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
